Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut departed Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinal against the Portland Trail Blazers and was later ruled out for the rest of the contest with a right adductor strain.
Bogut left after playing only eight minutes of the first half. He had taken a ball to the groin in the game, but that is not believed to be when the injury occurred. The Aussie veteran's minutes have varied in the second round against Portland. Starting every game, he logged 26 minutes in Game 4, but only 11 in Game 3. He's averaging 4.8 points and six rebounds in this year's playoffs.
Bogut was replaced in the lineup by Festus Ezeli.
