Kobe Bryant is looking to cash in on his nickname.
Kobe Inc. filed a trademark May 2 for "Black Mamba," which the company intends to use on everything from athletic apparel to sneakers, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell.
"What I am when I step on that court, I become that, I am that killer snake," Bryant said of the nickname in an interview with Ahmad Rashad in 2015.
This is the 11th trademark filing for Kobe Inc., following "HeroVillain," "Create Forever," "Dream Epic," and "Friends Hang Sometimes, Banners Hang Forever."
